General Information
Q: What is Root 2 Fruit?
A: Root 2 Fruit is a free one-day creative wellness festival for all ages. It features beginner-friendly classes with practitioners, live performances, immersive art, vendors, and more.
Q: Do I need to bring anything specific to the festival?
A: We recommend bringing a water bottle, comfortable clothes for movement activities, and an open mind!
If you plan to participate in wellness sessions, bringing a yoga mat is also a good idea (limited mats supplied). A chair and/or blanket is also recommended! (limited supply).
Q: Is there seating available at the event?
A: Some seating will be available at the venue. However, if you plan to stay for the entire event (2-7pm), we suggest bringing a folding chair or blanket for added comfort.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: There's no specific dress code. We encourage wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and express yourself.
Q: Can I come and go during the event?
A: Yes, you're welcome to come and go as you please during festival hours (2-7pm ET).
Q: Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Q: Is there parking?
A: There’s street parking on either side of 52nd St and Warren St.
Q: How do I enter the venue?
A: The registration table will be at 5150 Warren St, Philadelphia, PA, 19131. It’s right off Lancaster Ave in West Philly, between Media and Master.
Q: Will there be quiet spaces available if I need a break from the activities?
A: Yes, we will have designated quiet areas for those who need a moment of calm during the festival.
Wellness Offerings
Q: What is Kava and why is it being offered?
A: Kava is a traditional Pacific Island beverage known for its relaxing effects. We're offering it as part of our holistic wellness experience. If you have any health concerns or are on medication, please consult with your doctor before trying Kava.
Q: How long are the mini wellness sessions?
A: Mini wellness sessions typically last about 20 minutes, allowing you to experience a variety of practices throughout the day.
Vendors and Food
Q: Will there be food available for purchase?
A: Yes, we'll have vendors offering a variety of food options, with a focus on plant-based offerings.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks?
A: Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. However, we encourage you to support our local vendors if possible.
